LEN'EN TEN'EISENKI - BRILLIANT PAGODA OR HAZE CASTLE


It is spring in Mugenri. There is groundless rumor that nobody knew the source of but making quite a stir; When the time comes that bad ideas blend with pride, the Heavens will divide the Mirror. Some drunkards heard the "divide the mirror" part and soared through Mugenri's skies because they thought it would rain free saké. Len'en Ten'eisenki is the fourth game in Len'en project and it was released on December 1, 2016. Brilliant pagoda or Haze Castle plays like a typical Len'en Project game, but consists of several new mechanics. The most distinctive part is cell system, where each stage consists of random formation of enemies as well as sub-events. Player can choose any direction they want using their movement, which leads to different cells. Stages are divided in red, purple and blue sections. The color of the section that the last cell player enter determines the boss and which stage player move on to next. Brilliant pagoda or haze castle has four teams for a total of 12 playable characters, each has their own shot type and bombs, as well as different movement speeds.

BLUE*


Blue* is a 2011 psychological mystery visual novel developed by Namaage and initially a free Windows application but with some limitations. Player can play the game in their browsers on PCs or smartphones without downloading but unable to use save and text setting features. The main part of Blue*'s story is around  the death of a poet named Asagiri Sou. There are three main plot lines that the player will have the chance to experience with the story progressing through the perspective of Nishikujo Natsume and Asagiri Sou who re-tell their 'memories. After the plot lines for these two protagonist have been completed, the last arc will follows the novel's heroine, Rei, who searching for answers for some mysteries. Blue* has been localized to English version in 2016, but the game still must be run in Japanese locale.

TRISKER


Trisker is a vertically scrolling manic shooter developed and released by SF WORKS in 2015. The player takes on the role of a squadron fighter facing a race of mechanized aliens and tasked with stopping the invasion using a fighter ship capable of great attack technology. The ship has three modes of fire; wide missiles, homing missiles and napalm missiles. Wide missiles perform high-intensity attacks to a wide range and highly versatile. Homing missiles can track attacks by locking on the enemies. Napalm missiles are less powerful but leave a blast flame at the point of impact. The ship has a limited number of bombs, but player can increase the number of bombs brought into the mission, but consuming the score items that can be obtained by defeating the enemy.

THE ORCHARD OF STRAY SHEEP


The Orchard of Stray Sheep (Japanese: Mayoi Hitsuji no Kajuen) is a mystery visual novel developed by Namaage and the English version was published by Sekai Project on June 20, 2016. The main part of The Orchard of Stray Sheep's story takes place in the unnamed secluded island, where a garden-like Academy stands alone. The protagonist Ichirou Yamada has been transferred there to work as a teacher and is given command of a student by the name of Casserole, who, based on the Academy’s rules, must remain happy. Throughout the story, Yamada encounters another students and each girl has a unique style that gradually changes as the tale progresses. There are only three main plot lines that the player will have the chance to experience and the game is closer to a kinetic visual novel with few options to choose from. The game consists of three endings with 2 bad endings and 1 true ending, each relying on a choice player make at a pivotal point in the story.

SOLDIER FORCE


Soldier Force is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by Studio SiestA and considered as a tribute to Star Soldier, a popular classic shooter series developed by Hudson Soft. Being a spiritual successor to its original series, Soldier Force's objective is primarily based on achieving a high score with no storyline. The player controls one of four different characters and must destroy enemies and hidden destructible tiles that offer bonus points. Destroying enemies will fills up a special gauge known as Soldier Trip at the bottom of the screen which serves as a temporary shield by automatically reach full weapon power. When Soldier Trip activated, the player temporarily enter a bonus mode where each enemy will drop a score orb and furthermore increase score multiplier. Soldier Force introduced Caravan Modes in which the player would race through timed stages while trying to accumulate a high score. Soldier Force was released on June 5, 2006.

In Gensokyo, recording technology gradually increased and Hatate needs something better than her old film. One day she decided to take a walk to the mountain until accidentally found a mysterious film. The photographs taken with that film trace the appearance of the object and photographed like live. Tengu no Kasha, literally translated as The Live Photo of Tengu, is a roguelike role playing game developed by disfact. Set in randomized dungeons and effects, the main character of the game is Hatate Himekaidou, a tengu reporter who searching for any interesting news for Kakashi Nenpo by using her new mysterious film. While Hatate explores the dungeon, she collects items and fights monsters by shooting enemies and since she can get a photo, she can embody the subject by using the picture. The embodied character can fight together as a partner, however, the player can not realize entities or characters whose realities already exist on that floor. Tengu no Kassha - Shoot and Embodiment! was released on June 13, 2010.

KANON BOUEIGUN


Takes place in an unspecified year, the city suddenly overrun by monsters and bring the city in ruin. In order to counter the invasion, Kanon Defense Force (KDF) has been formed. Kanon Boueigun is basically similar to Touhou Boueigun in most respects, a top down shooter inspired by Chikyuu Boueigun, a popular 3D shooter series developed by Sandlot. With super deformed versions of various characters from Kanon visual novel, the player assumes the role of Mai Kawasumi or Ayu Tsukimiya and engages with floods of enemies on gigantic sprawling maps before the health runs out. There are eight characters that can be used and new members will be added upon a mission completion. Kanon Boueigun was released on May 4, 2009.
